The fantasy for teens and beyond, Kerstin Gier is separated from the line of vampires, angels, demons so fashionable and very attractive deals with another subject, time travel. The main character, Gwen, a sixteen year old of today is grown in a particular family, which is passed a single gene, the possibility of time travel. Luckily she seems immune esserene and can live a normal life while the choice, her cousin Charlotte suffers a tough preparation for the adventures that will have to face. But one day she discovers she is the twelfth traveler, her mother had lied about his true date of birth (the element that determines who is destined to become a traveler) to protect her and give her a childhood without worries. Now he's unprepared to face reality, time travel can be dangerous if not plunging into the historical moment and in the right place. There is a kind of secret society that deals with the safety of travelers through a mysterious instrument, the chronograph, directing toward their defined goals and measuring the duration of time shifts. But Gwen is not only harmless incursions in the past, has a mission, to recover some of the blood of precedeti travelers to complete the current watch, given that the former had been stolen from the last two passengers, Lucy and Paul, disappeared in the past with the precious instrument. The accompanying Gideon, a handsome boy and nasty that had fraternized Conlie mild and well-educated Charlotte and now finds himself teaming up with the cheeky and determined Gwen.Sono many mysteries to unravel: why Lucy and Paul stole the chronograph ?
