Diapers Instead Of Pads

Fall 2011: Givenchy, Mugler, Hermès

Givenchy Fall 2011

It begins with a flourish with prints of panthers on dark suits, playing with transparency and austerity. Backstage, Riccardo Tisci said: "There is more sex than usual." And as if there could be an inspiration for this new collection, Givenchy, were Bettie Page and Amanda Lear.
Among other things, the designer is in this period, more than ever in the spotlight now turns in the voice (and somewhere in the web there is also evidence) that the designer Tisci is a good candidate for the post of creative director, left vacant by John Galliano at Dior.
But back to the collection, we find, in addition to the Panthers, prints of orchids, purple, black leather or stretch vinyl and organza, all to be combined with accessories such as sunglasses secretary, baseball hats with cat ears and stiletto shoes with metal applications in short, the woman Tisci is a true 50's Pin-Up.

Mugler Fall 2011

For his first time on the catwalk singer Lady Gaga has chosen Mugler's show, just across the catwalk of his trustworthy Nicola Formichetti, and taking the opportunity to give us some new gem from his upcoming album. For her, there are two outputs: one in pvc skirt with black mesh and transparent, the second in white blouse and skirt in plain sight super snug.
The models paraded between two rows of columns supporting arches, built inspired by the great nave of a cathedral. The collection is a celebration of style visionary and theatrical designer Thierry Mugler, including inserts pvc transparent tunics, skirts and booties with tight-looking synthetic platform and heel hook, which led to many problems of equilibrium in the models catwalk. Meanwhile
Formichetti same informs us that their biggest fan, as well as star of the show, has already "bought the whole collection in every color."

Hermès Fall 2011

Christophe Lemaire presents his first collection for the prestigious fashion house Hermès. The collection reflects all and for all the passion for the East of the designer. But the elegant caftans and long kimono are enriched by the natural tones of the desert: red, orange and green. But this new style of travel-Hermès is perhaps the most luxurious style to which Lemaire has never failed to arrive.
interesting mix of male and female lines, in a chic but austere. So the whole collection is characterized by clean lines and soft, giving the silhouette a fluid elegance. Note the accessories and special applications in natural leather and mink.
